The fund transfer process can be carried out using various available methods, such as BI Fast, RTGS, and SKN.
1. BI Fast
BI Fast is a payment method developed by Bank Indonesia to support real-time, secure, and efficient interbank fund transfers. This service enables fast money transfers with low administrative fees and is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The maximum amount allowed through BI Fast is IDR 250,000,000 per transaction. This system is designed to facilitate retail transactions and accelerate interbank transfer processes, making it an ideal solution for fast and flexible payment needs across various sectors.

2. RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement)
RTGS is a payment method for large interbank fund transfers in real-time. It is specifically designed to handle high-value transactions and is utilized when funds need to be transferred quickly without delay. Due to its ability to support large and rapid transactions, RTGS typically incurs higher administrative fees than other methods like BI Fast or SKNBI. RTGS is the ideal choice for urgent transactions requiring certainty and speed in settlement.
3. SKN (Sistem Kliring Nasional)
SKN is a payment method Bank Indonesia provides to facilitate interbank fund transfers of medium to large amounts that are not urgent. The clearing process in SKN involves batch processing, where transactions are processed and settled at specific times each day.
Although slower than BI Fast or RTGS, SKN offers lower administrative fees, making it an ideal choice for transactions that do not require real-time settlement, such as salary payments or scheduled large fund transfers.
